Ken Chatterton resigns; new BoD member needed

Postby Paul Swearingen » Fri 24 Oct 2014 15:20

Long-time BoD member Ken Chatterton has submitted his resignation from the NRC Board of Directors, citing his health as the reason, and we are now searching for a replacement.

Ken has been active in the club since the early '50's, and in 1980 he joined club leadership when he volunteered to take over the Publications Center. Shortly after that he was appointed to the Board of Directors and later served as Chairman. You'll be greatly missed for your wit, wisdom, and patience, Ken.

Any club member in good standing may apply to be a member of the NRC Board of Directors. You'll need to have Internet access and reliable e-mail, plus a phone, as most of our communication is accomplished very quickly and not via snail mail. To apply, send a short statement as to how long you've been a club member and why you wish to volunteer to become a BoD member to BoD chairman Paul Swearingen: by December 15. Thanks!
